Family Caregivers may feel physically exhausted, mentally depleted, and perhaps even resentful or guilty because they believe we aren’t doing enough. We deserve the support and care that can make all the difference in our overall health and well-being. We must not forget that the better care we give to ourselves as caregivers, the better care and availability we will have for those who need us.
Social Bridges 4 Life offers virtual consultations where we support the journey of the family caregiver.
We provide:
*Advice when the person struggles to complete personal care or simple chores in the house.
*Support and education to understand how the diagnosis progresses and what to expect.
*Specific strategies to implement when the person experiences, anxiety, hallucinations, disorientation, confusion, wandering, sundowning, and other feelings and emotions.
Most importantly – coaching and counseling are provided to minimize feelings of burden, guilt, and frustration.
